Robinson Crusoe Lake

Post by Denton »

What about this lake - at the Arborfield end of Ninemile Ride, near Wokingham.
Rumoured to have held 20lbs plus carp in the 60s & 70s.
Is it still available to fish - or is it for residents only?

There was an article in Carpworld sometime ago by Chris Ball about this lake and several other ones in the area. Very interesting it was too as are all of his Historic Waters articles - I feel that a book containing all of these historic water articles would be a very useful addition to the history of carping .

As said above there are other lakes/ponds in that area that are fishable and have a "history" I am told.
