Charles street
Charles street
Well I had a couple of hours bobbing for the perch this morning but to no joy.
It wasn't a bad morning until the rain kicked in either. Still it was lovely to get out with the new gear. I think that May have been my problem! The curse of the new tackle!!
Charles street is a nice little pond in the middle of Louth steeped with lots of history, from being mention in a couple of books over the years to being the home to dumped horse draw wagon full of ww1 firearms.
I'll be back for another go soon

I like the bag as well...and the rod...and the reel....and the net.....and the float...but especially the bag, what make is it?
The venue looks nice also, similar to a mill pond local to me which I hope to fish this year, steeped in history and hopefully fish!

There are three things that improve with age: wine, friendship and water sense, and there's no short cut.

Thanks gents
The bags a barbour one, I "borrowed" off my brother (orangejonny above) I think it's classed as a tablet / laptop bag.
It's a great bag and normally stuffed with lure boxes.

Ive got a bit of a bag fetish I'm afraid. It's a Barbour wax and leather tarras bag.

I've had it for about 6 years now so it's just wearing in nicely.
