If you belong to a club water, do as I do, attend the meetings and express your views and objections to the committee. Raise your concerns . Ask the reasons for changes and work to be done. If things aren't' challenged work tends to go ahead on a minority whim. If its the majority vote to radically alter the lake. Maybe it's not the lake or club for you.
