Is a Half Norfolk jacket one that only goes down as far as your 'Dereham'?

I really don't see what the problem is about getting a Norfolk jacket.

If I wanted one I would simply have my third under-footman take the second Bentley to the Isle of Harris to get some tweed then have Liberty send me a few bolts of their heaviest lining silk on the overnight train so that my valet could choose the one that will best match my eyes (he looks in them rather too long for comfort but he is such a jolly fellow that I keep him on!).

Once tweed and lining are chosen simply have my tailor come down between shoots to check my inside-arm measurements then run the ruddy thing up. Simples! What other way is there for a true gentleman to come by a jacket?

Wandler,

Thank you Sir, I told my man to follow your instructions precisely. He said he would obay, I think that's what he said.

Are you sure he didn't say he would 'ebay'? :Chuckle:
