Gerald Berth-Jones handmade Floats

Post by Andrew Field »

I was recently sent these floats by May Berth Jones with a letter explaining they were made by Gerald to fish the deeper swims at Redmire.

Thought you might like a look.

Thanks for sharing Andrew. You don't get to see many floats with a history behind them. :Thumb:

Here you go, i have obscured the top right as it has an address.

The floats came with a cork avon an old disgorger and a selection of porcupine quills, a lovely selection from a great angler. I like to think they caught a carp or two from Redmire.

What a wonderful present Andy and from one of the original carp catchers.
