Fished it once in a match with the river in flood. The winner had loads of chub - but lost just as many to a huge pike snaffling them off the hook!

Letton fishery, opposite the Red Lion stretch and beyond the Red Lion water has some great barbel and chub water with three beats. You often have the water to yourself.
Trouble is, the fish just don't read the books......

On the opposite bank to the Red Lion stretch is Letton Court - Paul Titcombe is the man to speak to for day tickets.
Trouble is, the fish just don't read the books......
