Sunday 21 August Bredwardine

The river was about 2 feet up and all the other anglers had gone home :-)

I had an eel and a barbel. The eel was bigger than the barbel :-(

I had a long chat with Dave, fingers crossed for Monday

Monday 22 August Bredwardine

The river was up over a foot on yesterday's level. I fished the same pool and had two chub and three eels. It was a lovely afternoon and I enjoyed the fishing. I'll post some photos when we return to the Land of the Internet.

As I was fishing the Wye near Lydbrook on Saturday as well, I can confirm the canoeists were all out in force.................My first blank there in years :(
