Love this publication. I collected them as a teenager and have the whole lot in binders full of book marks and notes. :thumb:
Maybe it's my age and eyesight but it's a bit small to read.
How about uploading a hi res scan to photobucket or flickr and posting the links under these scans?

Looks stunning! I am visting the wye this weekend for the first time (if i'm off the old deathbed)....... I am thus far disorganised, but I do have a few tackle shop numbers etc and usually get a feel for the place before I visit.

Those last shots of the valley is a little down stream from the bit I bailiff. Bloody lovely area the forest of dean.

Regarding the above. The second page down of the river running through the valley with the forest to the left and the big hills to the right.

Can anyone identify that fishery. It looks stunning and just the type of water id happily travel to. Assuming it still looks like that and doesn't have a motorway cutting through it nowadays..

That's near here Fishbone. Pant-y-llyn (The wildie haven) is not far from there also.

My river is in the top left hand corner of the top map (The river Ithon). :Thumb:

The wye valley is beautiful to fish and there's plenty of it. Have a look at the Wye and Usk foundation website if you'd like to fish it. I'd be happy to acompany you if you intend fishing from Hereford up.

Here's the website:-

Thanks for posting the above Lee. :Hat:

Blimus.... I still have my copies all three volumes all bound... I seem to recall they were going for silly money on the Bay of E for a while.... I still look through mine on occasion... its funny how angling has changed over the years
