And the lovley Bromham Mill. Unusual for the Gt Ouse in that it's rather boulder strewn down stream of the bridge. upstream is a syndicated section: home of some big carp and and barbel.

Loving the last one....but they are all great, especially the spot you had your best barbel, I'd say it looks like the perfect barbel lair.

Thanks chaps. I've only just realised but the shadow of the weigh sling in my net (last picture) looks like I've gone all Eastern European and decided to take one for the pot.

Great pictures Haydn, I fish the great Ouse around Godmanchester and its tough old water. :)
