1905 Fosters Snowflake Float.

Post by Fredline »

I picked this Fosters Snowflake float from 1905 up at Redditch the weekend and had a go at making a replica. I am quite chuffed with the result.Image
If you have no grease with you, and your rings are full of ice, do not cut out the ice with a pen-knife but get your man to put the rings one by one in his mouth, and so to thaw the ice.

Amazing! Its like they were separated at birth
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

I assume you've christened the one on the left Danny (DeVito) ... and the right Arnold (Schwarzenegger).

If the one on the left is the snowflake the other is definitely the snowball :eyebrow:

I see, you set the rod up in rests, open the bail arm and give the float a good whack with a racket?

You have it right Jeremy, I did say earlier that John had "served up" a fine effort of a float! :Hat:

What would you use the tennis ball float for? I'd like to know the story behind the snowflake float please.
