Double hooks
Double hooks
I am trying to source Drennan specialist double semi barbed hooks size 6. A web search has not produced a result. Perhaps someone knows of a tackle shop that still has stocks.

Re: Double hooks
Why not try Partridge double hooks? Sportsfish do them for the making of salmon flies!

Re: Double hooks
Askari do them - the old fashioned Bellars (?) doubles for zander, etc. So does Pecheur.com who trade like Askari in the UK. Live/dead bait hooks.
I use the Partridge, etc, double hooks as above for salmon flies - long shank, and the shorter shank hooks for tube flies.
No good for live baiting but can be used as a "belly hook" on rubber lures.

There are some "double" hooks by KAMATSU on that well known auction site!

Re: Double hooks
Different type of pattern - they sit side by side like a couple of claws, rather than back to back.Santiago wrote:Why not try Partridge double hooks? Sportsfish do them for the making of salmon flies!

Re: Double hooks
Tube fly doubles! Longer shanks for flies - used instead of trebles.
