Porkies

Post by GazTheAngler »

My local tackle shop has just got a stock of Porcupine quills in. 3 sizes large, medium and small. I was very happy and bought a 8-9in one with a red top. Going to use it with a nice lump of meat on a particular pond i fish. will get another yellow topped large one and a couple of small.

I had heard they couldn't be imported anymore...endangered animals list or some such thing.

Clearly another 'urban myth', then.

edit: Possibly only African ones are 'endangered'.

"Endangered species? If I had my way I'd have them all wiped of the face of the earth mate" I seem to remember a certain, sadly departed Peter Cook coming out with that one during one of his forays into Derek & Clive with Dudley Moore............ :Hahaha:
